Banana Boat crowdtap sampling

We are about to have the best summer ever! Summer 2015!!

As a member of crowdtap I received a sample of Banana Boat sunscreen sun comfort spf 30 to sample and share and provide my own opinion.

We live at the beach in San Diego so sunscreen is a product we use a lot and everyone knows and trusts the Banana Boat name and brand of products.

The sun comfort spf 30 gives a broad spectrum of protection and is good for everyday use. It is good for swimming, splashing, and sports and it moisturizes and relieves skin dryness from the sun and other effects of being outdoors.

One thing I really like is the sand easily brushes off and the kids liked that too.

I know I comment a lot about how time flies...and aren't we all having fun???

yeah, sometimes I am not having fun but stick to my philosophy that if I don't laugh I just may cry.

and so, I laugh and a lot.

But recently I had some minor problems that really got me down. My car would die when I was slowing down for example as I approached a light or slowed down to turn. No engine, no steering, no brakes, it was downright scary. Luckily I knew to throw it in N and it did restart. I totally lost confidence driving it. After a few weeks of repairing and then driving and have it die on me again, I decided the writing was on the wall and the time had come to buy a new car.

Then my computer decided to go to the black screen and after a week in the shop it seems to be working okay *knock on wood*.

Well well here I am again on a wednesday night getting a moment to sit down and blog for me and you.

In our family wed. nite is really the one night that we are all home together consistently week after week and if you read my blog it is the night we do "cooking classes with mom" and funny sitcoms on tv.

Before I leave for work in the morning I usually tidy the living room, do dishes, start a load of laundry, make beds, feed and take care of my cats, etc. sometimes I get there late because I  don't like to leave my house a mess and mostly because I do not like to come home from work and school and have to do chores.

This morning I prepped the crockpot and added ingredients in this order;
chicken
mixed veggies
water chestnuts
diced tomatoes
white beans

- so nice to come home to!

I made the 2 ingredient cupcakes using white cake mix and orange soda, it is tasty but I prefer the traditional cake mix recipe and we had biscuits with our stew.

Wed nite dinner time

Things have been so busy lately with work, school, family, and socially-there is always something to do or something going on. When the kids were very little we had structure and schedules but I wanted them to also know the fun of being impromptu and unscheduled and just being like water...and going with the flow.

Yesterday afternoon my brother calls (the kids have so much fun and lots of laugh with their uncle) and says "hey you want to have dinner together tonight?" of course I said "yes" knowing that means at my house so that when I get home from work I will be doing some cleaning so I can cook and clean again!

We decided to bbq and I told my bro when I got home from work I would call him and see what I had at home to cook. I baked potatoes with fixins, made a big fresh green salad, and garlic bread. He brought pork chops for the grill and red wine.

Impromptu delicious dinner and a lot of fun!

Brookside Dark Chocolate Crunchy Clusters -- Crowdtap sampling

As a member of crowdtap I was selected to receive a bag of Brookside Dark Chocolate Crunchy Clusters. I shared them with my girlfriends at our bookclub get together and everyone said how much they liked them and that they were delicious, the smooth dark chocolate and the fruit were a tasty experience.

I have already purchased more at my local Vons grocery store.

Reynolds house party

I am very happy to host a Reynolds magic house party for my girlfriends. We are going to cook and bake and sample the Reynolds products that we all use everyday! Pictures will be posted soon.

I am going to have everyone bring a recipe to share and then will photo copy them and make them into a recipe booklet keepsake from the party. Everyone goes home with coupons, recipes, and a big blue tote bag.
